At Jamonloncheado.es, all shipments are handled by a courier service (see Delivery Terms). Your order travels protected and insured against damage or loss, which means that in the event of any incident it will be replaced at no additional cost. If the customer detects any damage to the parcel, it is advisable to note it in the delivery slip remarks at the time of receipt.
Shipments are notified to the customer by email when dispatched. The carrier will make one or two delivery attempts; if unsuccessful, a delivery notice will be left with instructions to arrange a new delivery or to collect the parcel at a pickup point agreed by the carrier.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you add products to the basket, based on the destination and the order’s total weight. Rates are unified for mainland Spain and Portugal. A surcharge applies to the Balearic Islands. If you wish to place an order from the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, please contact us so we can inform you about the specific conditions. Likewise, the shipping price for EU member countries will be calculated in the cart according to the destination country.
Delivery Time
The delivery time shown on each product is indicative. In the event of a delay due to an out-of-stock item, the customer will be informed of the new timeframe. Business days are counted from the completion of the order or confirmation of payment. Delivery is considered completed when the carrier makes the order available to the customer, either at the delivery address or at a pickup point if home delivery was not possible.
By default, all shipments use the carrier’s standard service with no commitment to guaranteed deadlines. If the customer wants a guaranteed-delivery service, it can be optionally contracted by paying the difference.
If, after 7 business days from the first delivery attempt—or from the moment the parcel is deposited at a pickup point—delivery is not completed for reasons beyond the carrier or Jamonloncheado.es, the parcel will be returned. In such case, the customer must bear the costs incurred for shipping and return, as well as any handling fees. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the parcel upon receipt and note on the delivery slip any issue detected with the packaging.
